I really like this painting. I love the skin, and I know I have a lot to work on with hair, but it's really not bad! Unfortunately, my scanner is too small to accomodate the whole image (hence the "cut off" feeling there at the bottom and the darker shadow) and Photoshop, now tag-teaming with my scanner, has made a hobby of destroying the colors of anything I save in it (and the picture was too big to transfer into paint). Basically: I HATE YOU TOO, PROGRAMS. D<

The colors in real life look less brown and more bright... pinkish, orangey, even. Man~ If I can borrow my sister's digital camera, then I'll be sure to re-post this image. A camera will probably do it more justice.

For , who critiques my art honostly, has an opinion and is not afraid to share it, and has very inspiring journals! I'd also like to consider her a friend. This is her character, Peony, for her contest ([link]) which is closed TOMORROW. Not tonight at midnight, but TOMORROW. *shoots self*

Also, sorry for the wrinkles~! I love to watercolor, but alas, I lack watercolor paper. If I get the job I applied for, then I can buy some with my pay check in, oh, two weeks~! Hooray~
